Paws Across Pittsburgh

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals.We have a monthly pet pantry, provide temporary fostering for emergency situations, have a Senior pets for Seniors program, and more.

Meet Penny

Meet Penny, an adorable 6-month-old terrier mix who is ready to fill your home with joy and laughter!  She currently weighs 25 pounds and is expected to be medium size when fully grown.  This super happy pup adores everyone she meets!Penny would make a fantastic playmate for another dog.  Penny is also great with children, bringing boundless energy and affection to any family.  While she’s a sweetheart, she does get a little excited around kitties, so a cat-free home would be the best fit for her.Penny sleeps quietly through the night and has adapted well to her crate, making her a wonderful companion for your home.  She’s currently perfecting her house training and is making great progress.  Penny loves to go out and meet new people, but she could use a bit more practice on the leash.If you’re looking for a loving and lively addition to your family, Penny is ready to bring her sunshine into your life! She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.  Penny will be available for adoption on or after April 6th through Paws Across Pittsburgh in Springdale, PA 15144 (KL# 16182)
