Meet A Leah

Leah is available for adoption. The shelter estimated she is 9 years old (they are never right) but she acts much younger and weighs 6 pounds. Her adoption fee is $350.00. Leah is ready for adoption,  she had her spay and dental last Monday. She lost two teeth - not too bad if she is nine years old (we do not think so).  She came through it all like a champion and you’d never know she had surgery. Keeping her quiet and confined was a real challenge. She’s doing great and is still a chow hound.  She’s definitely a Velcro dog and does not like me looking at my phone for any length of time. She’ll pop her head in front of the phone or I get pawed at until she gets my attention on her.  She is getting possessive of a toy she may have and I’m trying to break her of that  She’s a delightful happy little gal and will be a total love bug with whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Leah is staying with Vera in Pittsburgh, PA.

Adoption Process
We ask for a $25 processing fee. We require people to have a vet history, dog experience, and time to work with a dog.
