Little Big Dog Rescue, Inc.

Jeanne Lou and Dot Terry have been rescuing dogs for several years. We decided to form a non-profit rescue so that we could fundraise to support our mission. Dot's mission is to provide a permanent home at Dot's Old Dogs Home for large-breed senior dogs whose owners have died or gone into a nursing home. These dogs do not do well in shelters, and will not get adopted. At our sanctuary, these dogs have a promise of a forever home, but are also promoted for adoption because there's nothing better than your very own human. Jeanne Lou's mission is to rescue chained/penned and yard-sale dogs. A lot of these dogs tend to be the smaller breeds, thus the name, Little Big Dog, because we rescue the little ones and the big ones. Jeanne Lou's rescues are placed in foster homes, vetted, s/n'd, socialized, and offered for adoption.

Nessa is settling in nicely at her foster home!! Nessa is a white and brown female Terrier/GSD mix puppy. She is full of energy and affection, and she can't wait to find a loving family to call her own! About her: - Incredibly sweet, social and love to play! - 7 week old Terrier/German Shepherd mix - She will thrive in an active household and is ready to join you on all your adventures. - Expect lots of cuddles and puppy kisses! Adoption Process
Adoption application; references checked; home visit done. The adoption fee is $200. We have an adoption contract which enumerates our requirements for the animal to be a family pet, and that the animal be returned to our rescue if the adopter cannot keep the dog. We require dogs to be family pets, living indoors.
