Gunnar is a lively, affectionate pup whoâs always ready for an adventure! Whether heâs running around outside playing, or soaking up attention, he does everything with enthusiasm. He loves being around people and never says no to a good petting session. With his playful spirit and friendly nature, Gunnar would make a wonderful companion for someone who can keep up with his energy and give him plenty of love.Gunnar would be best in a home without small children or other pets due to a high prey drive and resource guarding of food and toys. Staff is currently working with our behaviorist on these issues to help develop a plan for dealing with these behaviors in a home environment.If you are interested in meeting Gunner, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
