Meet Milo
Golden Doodle, it's a cute name. But it's not a breed, it's a mixed breed dog. Golden retrievers can be wonderful, poodles can be wonderful. But when you combine the two you can't be certain what you'll get. The result can be a variety of traits of both breeds. You can be pretty sure that she or he will be an active, energetic dog, with a great need for exercise and mental stimulation. Sizes vary as well; their weight can range from about 30 lbs to about 90 lbs. Handsome Milo is a friendly, very energtic 13 month old Golden Doodle. He's leggy, we suspect the poodle part was a standard poodle. Milo is good with other dogs and likes children. We recommend older children because of his size and enthusiastic play style. Milo's retirement age guardians love him but feel that a home with a younger person or family that can provide more exercise and activity would be a better fit for Milo. Obedience classes and perhaps moving on to agility or some dog sports would be a great bonding experience and a lot of fun for Milo and his new family. Adoption Process
Before scheduling a meet-and-greet with one of our adoptable cats or dogs, you must complete an application and interview with an adoption team member. Applications are located on our website at www.animaladvocates.net. We get to know the pets’ personalities and needs very well, striving to make the best possible match for both animals and adopters.
Adoptions Fees (as of 1/2021)

-Adult (year or older): $80 cat – $180 dog
-Senior (10 / 8 years or older): $60 cat – $90 dog
- Discount for adopting a pair – ½ off the adoption fee of the second cat or dog.
We aim to provide high quality care for the well-being of rescued cats and dogs until they are placed in forever homes. All animals are regularly vet checked, fully vaccinated, spayed / neutered and microchipped. They are routinely treated for fleas and worms as well as any medical issues.
