Meet Spike

Ok, awesome followers....this is a BIG " ask" and we know it's a wild shot but this guy is worth trying for. This is Spikey. He's between 8 and 10 years old. We are trying to find a 501C3 rescue for him because he has seizures. Spikey is on Phenobarbital 1GR 2 times a day. The seizures aren't bad and do not last long. His owner has hit extremely hard times and cannot care for Spikey anymoreHe is good with other dogs and with cats. Super gentle to walk on a leash....loves treats. Please, if you know someone involved with Shepherd rescue, please tag them. We know rescues are overwhelmed and slammed. Sadly, Spike's owner felt there was no other choice but to euthanize him but we would really like to try to find him a rescue or sanctuary. Please tag your friends who may know of any rescues that could help him. If a rescue can help him, please message our Facebook page. Thank you! Mon.-Sat. 10-4

Adoption Process
Adoption fee is $40.00 and they receive $25.00 of that back in the form of a spay/neuter certificate to use when surgery is done. We have a questionaire that is required to be filled out, adoption contract and copy of the West Virginia Spay/Neuter law is reviewed with adoptees as it is mandatory spay neuter when adopting from out facility. It is same day adoptions.
