Once your application is approved, the WI manager will call you to discuss adoption, answer questions and set up a private meet and greet if you are interested. This process can take up to 7 days. Luke is a 1 and a half year old, German Shorthair Pointer, probably purebred. Luke and his brother were brought into rescue when their owner couldn't care for them anymore. These boys are super dogs! Dog friendly, playful and love everyone they meet. Luke is house broken and crate trained. His foster family has been working on his basic commands and this boy is very smart.  He would love a family that likes to get out and about and that will include him on some hiking and fun adventures.   He currently weighs 50 pounds. As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult. Adoption Process
I drive 30-50 dogs to WI every month to find homes. There are too many dogs in my area to even think about an adoption fee. People see the dogs on petfinder (currently) do an application, my adoption coordinator approves applications, all dogs are fully vetted for their age and altered.
