COURTESY POST: Woody is currently located in Texas. Belgian Malinois mix Sweet boy, healthy & energetic, likes to be with his people, 15 months old, 50 pounds Highly intelligent, watches intently, high prey drive Strongly dislikes cats and squirrels and vocally (somewhere between a howl and whine) lets you know when he spots one Likes other dogs Likes routine Likes all people Still gets excited around children but calms after a bit Working on leash training & walks, he behaves like he’s on patrol House trained Likes his kennel, often naps in it Loves his Kong toys, chews, tugging Needs a secure yard Food motivated Neutered and up to date on vaccines Woody came to live with us last November at the age of 8-12 months. He was in rough shape (thin, fleas, guardia) & we don’t know his previous situation. We were asked by our local animal control to temporarily care for Woody while a prospective new owner was closing on a house. This person changed his mind. We’re looking for a home for Woody because we are seniors with limited mobility and he has much life and love to offer to younger, active folks. Adoption Process
To adopt, you must submit an adoption application. Personal references, and Vet references are checked and a home visit is completed. Our mission is to match the family to the right dog Adoption fees range between $325-$550 depending on the age of the dog. Adopters must sign an adoption contract
