Meet Rose

“Look for the helpers” Rose is one of those helpers. A helper dog. We all totally adore this girl! Rose was recently returned to the shelter after an almost two year adoption. When we heard she was coming back - our hearts sank. Our perfect little girl was coming back to the overcrowded shelter. Originally she had been found in the middle of the highway - with a microchip registered to someone 100s of miles away who would only say “they gave her away”. Now, back at the shelter again, she’s still the helper we remember, but a little older and wiser! She’s currently 52 lbs but a tad bit on the chunky side. Rose loves ALL dogs. Even her first go around at the shelter, she was able to play with every dog, even one who was very dog aggressive. She just has “a way” with dogs! She a fan of kids too! We believe her be a cattle dog mix - but she is definitely a Heinz 57! With tons of cute freckles! Rose has “rattie” ears that just add to her adorableness. ALL of theses dogs are currently in a high kill shelter in Georgia and need to catch a ride to Wisconsin on 10/26/24 in order to be safe! PLEASE apply on our website at www.muttlife.org to ADOPT OR FOSTER.
