Bio: Winnie has been with her foster family for a little over a month and is really starting to settle in and show her fun puppy self. She came from a hoarding situation and has really taken time to understand and be comfortable in a healthy home environment. Winnie recently upgraded to a new collar and we think it suits her dainty self much better! Her foster family recently took in a few puppies and determined they are not for her, as they make her very nervous. She still enjoys other dogs company and occasional play, but doesn’t care to be jumped on or chased, so she would need another dog in the home that isn’t super rambunctious. Now that the puppies are gone, she’s starting to relax and feel more comfortable again. We previously stated that another dog in the home will be a requirement for Winnie, however if the right adopter with no other dogs comes along, having experience with hoarding dogs or those that are under socialized, we will consider these applications. **Winnie will need a quiet home and adopter willing to fully commit to working with her as she’s obviously had some traumas in her past and will take time to trust. She cannot be picked up / handled at this time, but accepts pets. She seems to be more comfortable around women, and will bark quite a bit at men. She is also not potty trained to go outside and will mostly use potty pads. Apartment living would not be ideal for Winnie given she likes to use her voice. **
