Bio: Hi, I'm Hank. I'm a Southern boy who came to his foster home, scared shutdown. I lived under the couch or in my kennel for 4-5 days, only coming out to eat or to go outside. During this time, as a gentleman, I never had one accident in the house! Slowly I was curious about my foster family and the resident dogs and decided they might be ok, but any eye contact with the humans and I would retreat to my safe place. By the end of my 1st week, I was tired of being scared and hopped on the couch and laid next to my foster mom. I still didn't want pets or eye contact but made progress each day. I'm at the end of week 2 and I feel like a different pup, I love pets, my people and I'm getting into the swing of things more each day. Mom tells me I'm a typical puppy, full of energy, goofy and a bit of a clutz. New people and places still scare me and I'm not a fan of this thing called a leash but I'll keep practicing. I really enjoy my doggy siblings, they are teaching me so much about how to dog, I will need a doggy friend in my forever home. With patience and training, Hank will continue to become the best he can be. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823.
