Bio:Those Chicago winds must be blowing, to roll this big ham into town! Jean-Luc is the name, and being goofy is the game! He is a 2 year old Bullmastiff mix, with a very happy go lucky personality. He lives to play, give smooches, and snuggle his people. He's not exactly graceful about that always, but hey, what's a big guy gonna do. Jean is such a great boy that the shelter gave him a rave review and really wanted to see him saved by a rescue. See, the shelter can be a really tough place, especially a huge city shelter. They were afraid life in a kennel hoping for freedom would crush this young guys wonderful personality. So, when we reached out about helping with a few dogs, they knew it was his golden opportunity to come with too! Jean-Luc is a dream in his kennel, and loves other dogs. He does not show any food or toy guarding issues, and can be more submissive if a dog gets crabby towards him. Though if a dog shows clear aggression towards him he will go into defensive mode. Jean-Luc is great in social settings and loves getting attention. Just watch that drooly licker, it'll cause a flood! He does seem to have some fear towards strange men in his home, but will nervously bark and would rather be removed from the situation that cause any trouble. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc.
