Bio: We saw the plea from the Chicago Shelter to get this skinny momma out of the shelter and it wasn’t even a question. When dogs are malnourished and already struggling we know it’s urgent to get them out of the shelter because the stress can shut them down quickly and then the body also shuts down. Sweet miss Eliana was found, huddled up on a porch all by herself in Chicago. No babies around although it’s clear she’s had Babies recently. She doesn’t appear to be actively producing milk anymore so we’re hoping the babies were at least kept safe. Eliana is pure sweetness. Despite being severely underweight upon arrival, she has not shown food aggression and takes treats very nicely. She gets along well with other dogs and so far loves people. Eliana is doing so good. She is good with kids (older just due to jumpy excitement) and is just a happy girl. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823.
