Meet APOLLO! 4yrs, Neutered Male, Hw- Neg 45# Apollo is dog-friendly and is currently kenneled with another pup in the shelter. He is super easy to handle and does great on the leash. He is house and crate-trained. He does fine with cats, good with kids. Don't pay attention to his RBF, he is an all-around great guy! Will you be the one who makes a difference in his life? Apollo is currently in a high-risk kill shelter in Georgia and is hoping to catch a ride to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on 11/16 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. He needs an ADOPTER or a FOSTER In order to secure his spot. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org We are located out of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and adopt out dogs throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Adoption Process
$500.00ADOPTION PROCESS: Step by Step Guide 1. Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! 2. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 3. Application processing: we do a thorough background check, landlord approval (if applicable) or home ownership verification, vet check, and review your application. This process can take up to 5 business days. 1. note: if renting, please have your landlord write letter of approval for you to have a dog and either send to [email protected] or submit document during application submission. 2. Please call vet and authorize them to release medical information with us. 4. Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 5. Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the chance to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 6. Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 7. Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 8. Neuter/spay for puppies: if dogs are adopted prior to 6 months of age and are not neutered/spayed yet, we will work with you to coordinate an appointment with one of our veterinary clinic partners or you can go through your vet and we will give you a partial adoption fee reimbursement.  **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable** MUTT LIFE DOG ADOPTION CONTRACT (1).docx
