Good with dogs: yes (shows some signs of jealousy over person she bonded with most, so patience and willingness to watch for signals and train.) Bio: This sweet gal from Texas has a Texas size heart, ready to love and bond quickly with her people. She is happy snuggling close while you read or watch tv, supervising while you clean house or make home repairs, and accompanying you on walks as long as a nap afterward is part of the plan.   She is house trained, not having a single accident even during the time adjusting to her temporary foster home.  She likes to eat her breakfast and dinner in her crate, but is fine out of her crate while you’re out of the house.  Although the breed is known to slobber and drool a lot, you won’t need a drool rag on hand for her. Maybe just a little once in a while right after she gets a drink.) At times she may get a little jealous when the other dog in the house is getting attention or engaging in play with her humans, so it will be important for her forever humans to watch closely for her signals and intervene quickly to avoid creating a power struggle. Consulting a professional dog trainer or an online search of “preventing resource guarding humans” will provide tips by dog behavior experts.
