MOCHA Available for adoption ATTENTION ADVENTURE SEEKERS: Are you ready for the most enthusiastic roommate you'll ever have? That's me—Mocha! I'm living proof that good things come in caffeinated packages! At 10 months old, I've got the puppy pizzazz of a dog who just discovered the world is filled with amazing things to sniff, chase, and love.  When my humans grab the leash? BEST. DAY. EVER. When I see a friend (or literally anyone)? BEST. DAY. EVER. When you toss a toy my way? You guessed it... BEST. DAY. EVER! Life before my shelter days was spent as a street-smart wanderer, but I'm ready to trade my nomadic lifestyle for Netflix cuddle sessions and outdoor adventures. My wire coat isn't just adorable—it's touchably soft and perfect for those "who's the good boy" scratches I absolutely live for. I'm currently enrolled in what I like to call "Canine University," learning the finer points of sit and shake. I'm a quick study, but I'll need professors (that's you!) who are committed to continuing my education. Here's my dream match: If your idea of a perfect Saturday involves hiking trails, playing fetch, or teaching a charming pup new tricks—we might just be soulmates. Fair warning: I've never encountered a stranger in my life—only friends I haven't sniffed yet. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
