FOREST Available for Foster to Adopt Ready to meet a down-to-earth companion who'll share life's simple pleasures? Hi, I'm Forest! I just made the big move from Missouri, and I'm so excited to start my new chapter here! At 3 years old and a just-right 21 pounds, I'm the perfect medium-sized friend who'll fit perfectly into your life and on your couch. Speaking of couches – that's one of my favorite spots! I love finding the perfect perch where I can keep an eye on everything happening around me. Think of me as your professional people-watcher and window-gazer extraordinaire! But don't let my couch-potato moments fool you. I'm also an adventurous soul who loves exploring the world nose-first! Whether we're playing in the yard or taking a leisurely walk, I find joy in discovering new scents and sights around every corner. I've got my grown-up manners down pat – I'm fully potty trained and feel right at home in my crate. While I'm still getting used to my new surroundings (everything is so exciting!), I'm taking it all in stride with a wagging tail and curious spirit. Looking for a balanced buddy who knows when to play and when to relax? That's me! I promise to be your faithful companion whether we're out on adventures or just sharing quiet moments at home. Ready to help me write the next chapter of my story? I can't wait to show you all the ways we could be perfect together! P.S. - My favorite way to end the day? Right by your side, watching the world go by. Shall we make that dream come true? I will be microchipped and neutered and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey Love and Licks Forest
Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
