Bio: A big hello from this bundle of joy, Moonshine! He was definitely a little hesitant when we got him off the transport. However, the second he got into the car and got a minute to rest, he turned into a whole new dog. As soon as he got to his foster home he transformed into the sweetest, most loving dog. He was immediately curious about his foster siblings, showing no hesitation whatsoever upon seeing them through the gate that separated them. There was so much joy and curiosity we made the decision to integrate them that first morning we had him. We observed no issues in that first meeting and haven't since, he's been absolutely perfect and mindful of his surroundings. Although they still eat separately, as a caution, they happily share everything else from toys, to spots on the couch, to their humans. He has adapted very well and very quickly to his foster environment. He plays just as well with the 40lb cur mix as with the 30 lb pup. He is a very loving boy and will follow his family everywhere. ‼️ Due to his past he does NOT do well with any sound that is or is resembling any kind of barking, snarling, or screaming. We have observed him more than once completely shut down when he's exposed to such‼️ He's a medium energy guy for sure, he loves to play and run, but knows when it's time to calm down! He does well with his crate, and will willingly go in once he has his bed and a stuffie. This guy is willing to be any one's best friend. People? Awesome! Dogs? Awesomer! Cats? Of course! For having little to no real work on it yet, his leash manners are absolutely perfect. No pulling especially in an environment he's used to. He has no preference of a fenced or unfenced yard, but so far prefers we hand walk him to go out. He would do best in a quieter, more controlled environment. No small children, older children that understand his need for space would be fine. He would prefer a family that is home more often than not as he enjoys his freedom from the crate. He would also really appreciate a family with dogs, he gets along immediately and really well with dogs. All in all, this guy is going to make an absolute best friend once he finds his forever home❤️ Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based rescue. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. Preapproval applications for future adoption are welcome.
