Meet Achilles

Meet Achilles! Achilles is the sweetest, most loving boy. He’s a sensitive guy who always wants to be in your lap, cuddling.   He’s very talkative but doesn’t bark often. He is highly food motivated and loves treats (he is allergic to chicken, though, and has never had anything with grain in it!) No stuffy toys for Chilles - he swallows them, but he is a big fan of nylabone-type toys! He is not super active—he is more of a lazy dude, probably due to the back surgery he had as a baby. He used a kennel when he was little but is totally fine staying out when we are gone. He is not destructive.    Achilles would be great in a house without kids or other pets. He would love to have a yard, but he also does fine in an apartment. He could use some training on a leash. He is sometimes a little reactive but does fine with his muzzle. 

Adoption Process
Home visits, fees vary, adoption contract required. Adopter agrees to return animal to the rescue if they are unable to care for them.
