Meet Doc
MEET DOC: Doc is an incredibly smart pup—you can see it in his eyes! He's eager to please and always looking for positive feedback from his humans. At the same time, he has a strong personality and Doc likes to be in charge and can be a bit assertive when meeting other dogs, but he is great with people. Once he gets settled, though, he’s all about fun and play! With his high energy, Doc will need some training to help him understand his boundaries. But he's super intelligent and motivated to learn. While he hasn't had much exposure to cats or large livestock, a slow introduction would be best. Doc already knows at least five basic commands, is housetrained, and crate-trained. Since he’s food-driven, training with treats should go smoothly. Doc would likely do best as the only dog in the home, at least initially, and it’s probably best for him to be in a home without small children. Thinking about inviting Doc into your home?
