Meet Ralphie

Meet Ralphie! Ralphie is ready to jump onto your lap and into your heart! For a little guy, he has a large personality. Pets and affection are his favorite; he’s never met a “stranger.” His ears are so expressive, and he even smiles now and then. Ralphie is excited for any activity. He enjoys adventurous walks, but is also equally excited to relax on the couch binge watching your favorite show. He is always ready to follow along. If long walks aren’t your thing, he is great at entertaining himself with toys, but he requests a throw every now and then.    When he is playing on his own, he can get a little possessive. Noises frighten him at first, but he grows accustomed to them quickly. Although he did have some potty training challenges in the past, he saves his marking for outside only now!    He will thrive in a dependable environment. He is very intelligent and athletic and redirects well. He will not hesitate to jump up on a bed or couch when asked. Puzzle games are no match for Ralphie, and he perseveres until he gets all the treats. He enjoys kennels as his safe space. Sometimes, he protests but will follow a treat into the kennel immediately. He usually sits on command but gets so excited when he does a good job that he stands back up again. With consistent training, he will master this in no time! He is great in his harness.   If you’re looking for a dog that will follow you to the ends of the earth, Ralphie is your guy! He will make a great companion and never let you forget that you are so loved!

Adoption Process
Home visits, fees vary, adoption contract required. Adopter agrees to return animal to the rescue if they are unable to care for them.
