In the heartwarming video by charliedelta1991, a little boy is sitting in the living room with his Golden Retriever. He wraps his arms gently around the dog. Once he finishes hugging him, he pulls away while the dog reciprocates the gesture. It wraps its front legs around him from behind, giving him the furriest of embraces.
The viral clip was posted to TikTok on May 24 with the caption, “He always hugs back #dogs #goldens.” Since that time, it has been viewed more than 5.4 million times and has over 1.5 million likes. It has garnered attention worldwide, with thousands of comments pouring in from adoring internet users.
