Hello there, my name is Taffy! I'm a black and white girl kitty who is 2 years old, and sadly, I have been here at the shelter before. I was fostered with my sister for awhile, and then we got adopted together, but I escaped outside! When I came back, I was scared of my sister and just not feeling safe or secure anymore. I had to stay separated from her, and I was lonely. I know my family tried to make things work, but they brought me back to the shelter so I could have a chance to be an only cat and live my best life with someone who can give me all of their attention. Here at the shelter, I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty grouchy, but normally I'm sweet and like to sit next to my people (I'm not thrilled about being picked up, but I love getting pet!). I like churu treats and I love to play with a toy called a "cat dancer" which is a super cheap wand toy. I am so ready to find my true furever family! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
