Meet Duchess

Greetings, I'm Duchess! I am a grey and white girl kitty who is 5 months old! I am an extremely friendly girl who loves to snuggle and loves to play! Wand toys are great, but I also like to bat different balls and other toys around. My foster home had a golf ball that I really liked to roll around and chase, so if you're a golfer, we would have that in common! I also absolutely love treats, especially churu and delectable squeeze-up treats--my foster mom would distract me with those to trim my claws. I do sometimes give love bites, but I also like to just snuggle and cuddle in your lap! I'm sharing a cage with my brother Earl, and the easiest way to tell us apart is I have a grey chin. [Duchess has been transferred to Atlanta Humane Society, and her name is now Irene!]  The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
