Meet The Count

Greetings, I am the Count! I am a black, slightly floofy boy kitty who is about 6 months old! I am a very loving guy when I feel safe. The easiest way to let me feel safe is to let me hide in a box or a cat condo, and approach me while I'm hiding. I might hiss, but I am not a swatter or a biter, and I LOVE being pet all over my face and chin especially. I took awhile to get used to not hiding at my foster home, but after a few weeks, I got more comfortable being out in the open. One way you can get me to do just about anything is to give me a churu treat--I know exactly what they look like, and will even climb up on your lap if you're letting me eat a churu. I also like to play, but it takes awhile for me to get there--wand toys are great for letting me play without getting too scared! I am going to be such a great kitty for someone with a little patience and a quiet home. I get along great with other kitties, and would love to be adopted with my friend Panda if you're looking for two kitties! But I will also be just fine on my own! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
