Meet Ellis

Ellis has limited vision after being found with badly infected eyes, but he doesn’t let that stop him! He’s safe now and oh so happy, healthy, and loving. He keeps up with his feline friends just fine, running and playing to his little heart’s content. Lives with dogs too and likes to swat tails and take over their bed. Adoption Process
We have an application that must be filled out including a vet reference and non-relative references. A 24 hour hold on the application allows the ARC volunteer to call references and follow up with any questions for the potential adopter. A home visit may be scheduled at this point. If the person is approved, they must sign a contract. An adoption fee is required, however this may be waived in special circumstances. If for any reason in the future they can no longer take care of the pet, the animal must be returned to ARC.
