Meet December

December is a 2 year old female Lab mix, who is so sweet and gentle. She has raised 3 puppies while at the shelter, and now December and her pups are all ready for adoption. She is initially shy of new people, but she warms up to you after spending a few moments with her. And it’s well worth your time to discover this super sweet and lovable girl! While December is still young, she is really a precious “old soul” who is content to simply lay beside you. She has excellent manners, and is calm and easy going when walking on a leash. December is very patient with her pups and will even occasionally join in their playfulness, which is so cute to watch. More than anything, this precious girl dreams of her forever home, complete with a kind family and soft bed to call her own. Come meet December, and make her dreams come true! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
