Meet Zion
Zion is a male, 1 year old Lab mix, who will make a wonderful companion dog! Zion is an easy-going boy who seems to just go with the flow and tolerate pretty much anything. Even with a barking over-protective mama dog next to his play pen, he didn’t react and simply walked away. Overall Zion has seemed good with other dogs that he has met through the fence, although a Meet n Greet is always suggested if other dogs live in the household. Zion has a moderate energy level, so he is happy to walk along at your pace. He also loves belly rubs, and will gladly roll over for one (or two)! So if you are looking for an all-around good boy and family dog, be sure to meet Zion and give him the furever home he SO deserves! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
