Meet Piper

Piper is an almost one year old female Pit mix, who is simply irresistible! She is just the perfect balance of active and chill - ready to go on long walks with you, but just as happy to simply spend time by your side. Piper is a friendly girl and absolutely loves people, greeting them with her charming smile and happy tail wags. She also seems to enjoy being with dogs, and seems ok with cats too. As always, a Meet and Greet is recommended if you have other dogs in your household. But it’s good to note that Piper has done well in play sessions with another shelter dog (her bestie, Ebony), and it’s so fun to watch the two of them having a blast together! All that Piper is missing is a loving home to call her own, filled with people who will love her as much as she will love them back. Be sure to meet sweet Piper today, you will be SO glad that you did! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
