Meet Hailey

Hailey is an almost one year old female Lab mix, who is ready to experience the love and warmth of a forever home. Although she is shy around new people, once she gets to know you, her super sweet and friendly nature shines through. Hailey has quickly learned leash manners and greets other dogs politely during walks. She is a little sensitive about someone touching her back from behind, often turning away to avoid it, which makes you wonder what past experiences could have led to this reaction. With the gentle care she’s received at the shelter, Hailey has become more trusting and is gradually overcoming her shyness with new people. She is a soft and gentle soul who deserves to be part of a family that will offer her the love and stability she’s been missing. Could that family be yours? The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
