Meet Gia

Gia is a female Cur mix, who is a little shy and very sweet! She is initially reserved when meeting someone new, so it may take a little time for her to warm up. But after a short walk, Gia rewards you with a HUGE smile! Once she knows you, she will also lay her head in your lap while resting together, as well as roll over for belly rubs. At that point, you know you have won her love (and vice versa!). Gia has the cutest floppy ears, which bounce along while she walks with you. She is a fairly laid back and mellow girl, who enjoys spending her time in the park walking around and exploring scents. Gia seems to like other dogs, and will sweetly greet them through the chain link fence. She is also good on a leash, and makes a great walking companion. This beautiful girl has been patiently waiting to find her furever home, where she can feel loved and cherished. Please go meet her soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
