Meet Bella Reese

Bella Reese is a very sweet girl. She is heart worm negative, vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready to find her forever home. She is thought to be about 3 yrs old although she seems younger. She weighs 68 lbs. She is thought to be a hound mix but this is uncertain. She is a happy, playful girl. She was a bit intimidated when inside the kennel enclosure but once out, she is a very happy girl, and very loving. She may not be good in a crate.  Bella Reese is now being fostered in a home situation. Her foster Mom says the following: She is polite with the older dogs in the home. She does well with the cat. She loves to run and play, so having a fenced yard for her would be best, but she really wants her family to join in that playtime. She also enjoys playing and wrestling with other younger dogs. She is walking nicely on the leash and is always listening for guidance. She has big beautiful erect ears when she is curious or interested and those ears are constantly moving so that she can hear your every word. Bella is quite eager to please and loves being told she is a "good girl". She is just a big bundle of affection, kisses and love waiting for the right family to make her their very own. Bella would be best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods as she bonds fairly quickly to her family. She is just very good in so many ways. She does get a little intimidated in stores or busy public places but seems to adjust after a time. She is house trained if taken out regularly. She is learning how to ask to go out but currently paces which is her cue. She is easy to train and is quite motivated by treats. If you are interested in this beautiful girl, make an appointment to come meet her.  We also offer our “Foster to Adopt” program. This allows a potential adopter to bring a dog into their home as a foster dog to see if the fit is a good one. Any medical needs during the foster period are covered by WAG. If the dog is a good match with the home, family and other animals, the adoption can then move forward. If you would like to meet Bella Reese, please call WAG at 352-528-9888 to set up an appointment.
