Cubby is an amazing find for anyone looking for a wonderful family dog. He is a beautiful brown brindle color. We are uncertain of his exact breeding. He has a tongue with some Chow like purple markings and probably has some bulldog in him. He has the cutest ears that stand straight up when he is concentrating or excited. He is a very sweet boy. He's about a year old and weighs about 55 lbs. He's house trained with a doggie door and crate trained. He also walks well on a leash. Cubby is currently being fostered by one off our volunteers. She says that he is great with kids, dogs, cats and kittens. He is very gentle and playful and loves to cuddle and get attention. He is a bit of an adolescent right now and has just an adorable personality. He is somewhat fearful of thunder. Cubby is also heartworm negative, microchipped, neutered and vaccinated. Cubby is looking forward to finding his forever home. If you would like to meet him, please call WAG at 352-528-9888 to set up an appointment. We also offer our "Foster to Adopt" program. This program allows for someone interested in adopting a dog, to foster that dog for a period of time first, in order to see if the match is a good one. If the fostering period goes well, then the adoption can move forward. If not, the dog is returned to WAG and we continue to search for the perfect home.
