Meet Sully

Welcome, Sully! We were contacted to help this adorable pup, who has had a heartbreaking start to life. Sully was found in the middle of the road, lying next to his deceased mother. Thankfully, some Good Samaritans stopped and rushed him to the vet. After an examination, the vet suspected that Sully had been thrown from a moving vehicle. Miraculously, nothing was broken. However, he was unable to bear weight on one of his back legs. To give his ligaments time to heal, he was placed on crate rest and closely monitored for over three weeks. Fast forward a few vet visits later, and we finally received wonderful news—Sully does not need to see a specialist! He’s now ready to start playing with other dogs and learning how to just be a puppy. Given his traumatic past, Sully is understandably fearful of certain things, especially walking near cars. However, in just the past week, he has started to overcome his fears—a true testament to the resilience of these incredible animals. We are so grateful that one of our amazing previous adopters has stepped up to foster him! To support his healing and growth, we’ve ordered high-quality puppy food and top-of-the-line supplements. Sully still needs additional vet care, and any contributions toward his recovery are greatly appreciated.   Sully is being fostered in Ocala, Florida. Interested in adopting?
