Meet Lisa Marie

Lisa Marie appears to be a lab mix approximately 2 yrs old and weighing 42 lbs. She has beautiful reddish fur. She was found in Levy County and was never claimed. She has been evaluated by the vet and found to be totally healthy. She has been spayed, tested negative for heart worms, vaccinated, micro-chipped and started on heart worm prevention.  Lisa Marie is a very gentle, affectionate, playful young girl. She appears to already have had puppies in her short life. She knows some basic commands and walks nicely on a leash. She is very silly and playful and still seems to be a bit of an adolescent at times. She is just a sweetheart. Lisa Marie will make a wonderful family member for a younger family as she enjoys playtime. She will make you smile and love and cuddle you when you are in need. If interested in meeting Lisa Marie or any of our wonderful dogs, please call WAG at 352-528-9888 to set up an appointment to meet them.  We also offer our "Foster to Adopt" program. This program allows for someone interested in adopting a dog, to foster that dog for a period of time first, in order to see if the match is a good one. If the fostering period goes well, then the adoption can move forward. If not, the dog is returned to WAG and we continue to search for the perfect home.  If unable to adopt or foster but still wish to help our dogs at WAG in some way, we also encourage "sponsorships" of our dogs. A sponsorship of $25 per month for a dog at WAG, can help cover the costs of food, medication, any vet costs and other supplies for that specific dog, until they are adopted.
