Meet Oakley

Oakley is a one year old male Australian Cattle Dog mix, who is strikingly handsome! This friendly boy is usually the first in his group of dogs to meet someone at the fence, although he is a little shy/hesitant when a new person approaches inside the pen. All it takes are soft treats (which he LOVES), and Oakley quickly warms up to show his sweet lovable personality and silly antics. From there, he is sure to steal your heart! Oakley also seems dog-friendly since he arrived with several other dogs, and currently lives with two of them in the same pen. So come meet this wonderful and stunning little pup. All that Oakley asks for is a loving home with a soft bed and lots of love from his people. And in return, he will give you love, loyalty, and his complete gratitude! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
