Meet Stone

Stone is a 10 month old male Lab mix, who will probably remain a medium-sized dog. He is at the lanky phase of his growth, which makes him so cute to watch running in the park because he looks both agile and gangly at the same time! Stone is initially very shy when he meets new people, especially if he is in his cage. But once he is out, he quickly warms up to show his sweet wonderful personality … and of course, lots of pets and soft treats always help too! Stone seems good with other dogs, and is eager to meet (through the fence) any dogs walking by the fenced-in park area. Stone loves to go on walks, run in the field, and chase balls, followed by laying down in a nice shady spot to rest. So if you are looking for a special lifelong companion, be sure to meet Stone! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
