Meet Nevada

Nevada is a 2 year old female Lab mix, who is friendly and sweet-natured. She absolutely loves being with people! Nevada enjoys a short run in the park, but seems to prefer spending most of her outdoor time walking around and exploring new sights and smells. Nevada is fine when passing by other dogs’ cages, and she came in to the shelter with another female dog. Still, a meet-n-greet is always recommended if other dogs live in your home. Nevada is fairly laid back, well-mannered, walks well on a leash, and will follow your lead. She also takes treats oh-so-gently from your hand, and has such sweet soulful eyes that are sure to steal your heart! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
