Meet Sunny

Sunny is a female 9 month old German Shepherd mix, and she lives up to her name with her sunny personality! She is so agile as she runs in the park, gracefully jumping over any obstacles - truly beautiful to watch! She tends to run for just a short time, and then enjoys exploring scents, playing with sticks, and spending time with you. Treats and belly rubs are the way to her heart! Sunny seems ok with other dogs as she meets them through the fence. Note that a Meet and Greet is always best if you have other dogs in your household. On the other hand, Sunny seems much too interested in cats, and would probably not be good in a home with them. She knows the Sit command, and is also well-behaved on a leash. Even when a feral cat was nearby, Sunny was easily pulled away to focus on walking somewhere else. She is a sweet girl and clearly loves being with people. Sunny is SO ready to find her people, the ones who will give her a great home filled with love and happiness. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
