Meet Pippy

Let’s reintroduce Pippy, our Adoptable Shelter Pup of the Week for her second debut! She was 8 months old back in April, and boy had she grown when we saw her again this weekend at our Local Ties event! Pippy, a medium-sized Pit Bull-mix, is an absolute ball of joy, ADORES kids and belly rubs, and we’ve taken to describing her name as short for Pipsqueak because she’s so darn cute! She loves car rides, walks (especially if she can hop around), pup cups, and meeting new people (she really loved Underground Books and saying hi to lots of new friends in the Square). This girlie has a TON of energy and would need either an active family willing to take her on long walks daily or a big yard to get her energy out! While we’re not 100% sure how she would react to a kitty, she is very friendly and would most likely do very well in a home with other animals who are tolerable of her play pouncing and wanting to be right up in their business. Pippy is a very good listener and super smart, and with a little bit of puppy training, would be a very great addition to any home! If you are interested in adopting Pippy, or would like any additional information on this sweet furbaby, please call Carroll County Animal Shelter at (770) 214-3590!! All adoptable animals are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted to their age. Shelter Hours: 12:30-4:30 Mon-Wed & Fri, 12:30-6 Thurs, 9-4 Sat, closed Sun (closed the last Friday of every month for training & deep cleaning). Dog meet-n-greets are always strongly encouraged before introducing a new pup to the family, and allow around 2-3 weeks on average for a new animal’s full personality to pop back out again in a new environment.
