Meet Mac

  Mac is a 1.5 year old Lab mix. Sweet Mac has been with us since July and is so ready to find his furever home! Mac loves people and walks and really he just seems to love everything! He loves balls and playing fetch. Plus he is easy to walk on a leash. Mac is a very sweet boy who likes hanging out with you and enjoying a sunny day together. Mac is smaller for a lab, weighing under 60 lbs and standing just a bit over knee-high. Mac would love to find a home with a yard to play in and potentially some children, although we always suggest a meet-n-greet if you have children or other dogs in the home. Mac did so well with the kids and other dogs he met at Mayfest and would be amazing in any home looking for a big smile to add to the family (plus he’d look great on all the Christmas cards)!  He will make a great family dog … be sure to see the video posted May 4 during Mayfest, which shows Mac being soooo good with a little toddler. Precious    The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.   Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
