Meet Finn

Finn is a 6 month old male Shepherd mix, and is ready to be your new best buddy! He has the most earnest eyes, and a way of looking up at you with complete adoration - so it’s VERY easy to fall in love with this little guy! Finn quickly warms up with new people to show his sweet, friendly, and oh-so-lovable personality. He enjoys going on walks, playing with other pups, and getting to explore interesting scents in the park. Recently, Finn and his sister Foxi have lived with a foster family, allowing them to learn the ropes of successful home life. Finn has mastered so much in his foster home, including crate training, good manners, and getting along well with other pets (cat and dog). Finn had a blast playing with Foxi and the resident dog, Winston (adopted from the shelter in December 2023). Although Finn is initially shy and reserved, he has gained confidence and truly blossomed through his foster experience. But above all of that, Finn loves getting attention from you, and is “All In” for snuggle time. Plus he makes the most adorable sounds when his ears are rubbed - just try it for yourself!  So be sure to meet this precious pup soon, and give Finn the loving home that he deserves! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
