Meet 41585 - Merlin
Merlin is a 2 year old male Pit Bull mix. Merlin arrived at the Howard County Animal Control facility severely under wight, covered in scabs, and visibly irritated skin. Only Merlin knows that horrors he went through that brought him to that condition. After a month of proper nutrition, vet care, and some much deserved TLC from staff and volunteers; Merlin is ready for his forever home. Merlin is on a strict diet and feeding schedule in order for him to safely gain weight. He cannot have treats and will need follow up care with his adopters vet to ensure he continues on the right path. Merlin enjoys playtime with other dogs and will be the perfect addition to any home interested in adding a new companion. Applications are accepted in person at our facility after you visit this pet out of their cage. Animal Viewing Hours: Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month) Tues & Thurs 1:30-7:00 Sat 10:00-2:00 (Closed on county observed holidays and holiday weekends.)
