Meet Kirby

Mr. Kirby is ready to find his new home!  Kirby is about 5 years old and 13 pounds.  He was a breeder release and now is enjoying living the life of a free dog! Kirby is a smart little dog!  He has adjusted well to living in a home and is thriving now.  He sweet personality is really blossoming.  Kirby has discovered toys and chewies in his foster home. His favorite thing to do is collect them from all over the house and put them on his bed.  He loves to toss the toys around but will also de-stuff the soft toys.  He is just so happy his foster mom doesn't really care.   Kirby loves to be outdoors.  He goes outside whenever he is asked and knows what he is supposed to do out there.  His housetraining is coming along but please expect additional training and accidents.  Kirby has a fully fenced yard in his foster home so that helps.  He hasn't had much experience on a leash but we think it is something he can accomplish with some time and patience.  Kirby can be skittish when you want to pick him up but his tail doesn't stop wagging once he's in your arms.  We know with time and love, he will get better with this.  Kirby loves other dogs and his current bestie is Tillie!  He is fine with larger dogs and small dogs like him.  Cats are no issue either.   Kirby will require regular grooming so please take that into consideration.   Kirby is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
