Meet Sadie

Sadie is available for adoption!  She is a Westie pup, 5 months old and currently about 10 pounds.   Sadie is a fun and active little girl who loves to play with toys! She enjoys finding a toy and carrying it around, often tempting the other puppies to try to take it from her. Sadie gets along well with other dogs, but she is also fine spending time alone. When it’s nap time, she isn’t particularly snuggly with the other dogs.    Sadie is happy to be picked up and cuddled by her foster family. She has been around cats and shows typical Westie behavior by barking at them—oh, what a little bark she has! She can be quite bossy during meal times, making sure her foster mom knows if breakfast or dinner is being served late. Additionally, she is treat-motivated.   Sadie is crate trained but not leash trained. She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home, which is perfect for her. However, she doesn’t want to go outside on her own; she prefers to be carried out. We hope that she will become more interested in venturing outdoors as the weather improves.    Since she is not leash trained, she will require a martingale collar at the time of adoption. If the adopter does not already have one, Pixie Mamas will provide it for an additional $10. If you love the westies like so many do, you will want to meet Sadie and apply for this cutie! Sadie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and flea/worm treated.  She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $700 to help with our long term and hospice dogs care.
