Meet Honey

Meet Honey - a sweet little dog with a name that fits her perfectly! Honey is around 2 years old and weighs about 23 pounds. We think she might be a mix of Min Pin. After being rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, Honey is looking for her forever home in WNY. We are so happy that we could help her in this journey! Honey is a well-behaved and quiet dog who has been doing great in her foster home. She hardly makes any noise and loves to sleep all day on her foster mom's bed - then she stretches her long body and legs to enjoy a belly rub. Although she was a bit unsure of the other dogs in her foster home at first, she has quickly come to accept them. She doesn't want to play or cuddle with them yet, but she will hang out with them without any issues. We think she may have been the only dog in her previous home. She has also met the foster cats in her home and didn't show any interest in them. Honey is already crate trained and walks like a pro on a leash. She seems to be house-trained, too, but it's best to give her some time to adjust to her new surroundings. When she needs to go outside, she comes right to her foster mom and waits patiently. Although she's still getting used to the chilly Buffalo weather, she's doing great outside. Honey loves to play with her foster mom and gets so excited when it's playtime! She's a real cuddler and loves getting lots of attention and affection. When Honey first arrived, she enjoyed a warm bath and was a total angel. She's a smart girl and it looks like she was someone's beloved pet before. It's hard to understand why dogs like her get abandoned, but her foster family is grateful to have her with them. Honey is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
