Meet Lola

Meet Lola! This adorable 2-year-old English Bulldog mix, likely with a bit of French Bulldog in her, is as sweet as can be. Weighing in at a sturdy 40 pounds, this lovable girl has such a charming personality! Lola was found roaming the streets in Texas and ended up in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, our wonderful rescue partners worked tirelessly to bring her to safety, and now she's ready to find her forever home in Buffalo! Let's give Lola all the love she deserves! Lola is a wonderful dog who gets along well with other dogs in her foster home, both big and small. She loves to play with them, and her favorite game is tug of war! However, like a typical bulldog, she can be quite stubborn and stands her ground when she wants things her way. Although Lola enjoys toys, she tends to destroy them quickly, which is an ongoing training challenge for her foster mom.   Lola is crate trained and loves to snuggle in her crate, especially when there’s a comfy blanket for her to rest on. We have finally helped her adjust to the Buffalo weather, and she now goes outside regularly, showing great consistency in her housetraining. However, please be prepared for a few accidents as she acclimates to a new home and routine.   She is leash trained and enjoys short walks and car rides. Lola is very friendly with people and has an amazing personality to match her beautiful appearance. When she gets excited, she can be quite energetic, sometimes jumping up on you or bumping into you with the force of a Mack truck. Because of this, she needs sturdy playmates and a family that can keep up with her playful antics.   Lola does not have any known allergies or health issues.
