We rescue animals from abuse, neglect, owner surrender and euthanasia. How We HelpProvide safe care in foster homes until loving, permanent homes can be found for our rescued animals.Make sure each animal under our care is current on his/her vaccines and is spayed or neutered (age appropriate).Provide a thorough adoption application screening process to ensure an ideal match for pet and familyWe (SAR) do this because animals tend to be forgotten about. Meet Sundance Kid

Sundance Kid (Sunny) is a 2 1/2 year old Australian Cattle dog/Miniature Schnauzer mix, he currently weighs 23.8 pounds.   Sunny's mom asked for help finding him a perfect home.  He is not happy when he is not the only dog getting all of the attention.   Sunny is housebroken, up to date on vaccines and neutered.  He is a high energy dog who LOVES people.  He needs a home where he will get enough exercise to keep him happy and healthy.  Sunny has been taught a lot of basic obedience commands and is a very smart boy.  His mom did a DNA test on him and he is Cattle dog and Schnauzer so he likes to play, herd and get attention.  He would do best as an only dog with older children in the home.  He requires a fenced yard for his safety while he is having playtime and potty time.   If you would like to meet Sundance Kid (Sunny) please fill out an application from our website.

Adoption Process
We have a thorough adoption process that includes an adoption application, vet check (All current and past pets have to be current on vacs. and spayed/neutered), and home check (fence required for larger dogs, etc.). If those come out good and the adoption is finalized, there is an adoption fee that is paid and a contract is signed by the adopter stating that the animal must be routinely vetted and the animal is not allowed to go to any other home w/out the rescue's approval. All of our animals are spayed/neutered before adopting out and currenton vacs (as well as flea and HW meds).
