Meet ViVi

We've been having a new adventure recently!  We took in a little Peke girl who had sustained an injury to one front leg that had destroyed the nerves,,, so while the leg was not broken,,, it was useless and not fixable.... She has recently gone thru the surgery to have that leg amputated and does amazingly well on three legs ,,, both before dealing with the useless one,, and since even better without that nuisance..... She's a darling little girl ,, she's been spayed and all ready to find a forever home with someone who doesn't need to provide much in the way of special treatment,, but who will need to be careful that she doesn't do more than she should as far as jumping off things and dealing with stairs etc.... (she doesn't consider herself the least bit handicapped and won't hesitate to try things on her own). She has been kept pretty much on her own here, but has interacted with several other small dogs.  The rest of our crew are pretty much old, blind, or grumpy,,, so she's not had much opportunity to find a suitable playmate.  Nor has she seemed unhappy when she was left without other canine company. She will be a wonderful companion for someone and just needs a person to keep an eye on her enthusiasm and youthful exuberance....
