I rescued him from Western, North Carolina after the hurricane, but unfortunately cannot keep him because of my 12-year-old miniature poodle. Max is housebroken, crate trained and knows some basic commands. He will need someone with experience with the breed and firm guidance. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GSRA DOG. Adoption Process
We require an application to be filled out on our website - http://gsdrescue.org/index.html
After the application is submitted a Vet Check, Phone Interview, and Home Visit are required to receive approval for adoption. Once approval is granted then the applicant and a GSD match is made then a trial will take place (usually 1 week). The adoption fee is $300 and an adoption contract is required at the time of the trial.
